In a time of uncertainty, I was hoping not to make this first forum post in a negative way, however w

e would like to inform our customers that Silvio Alves Motor Repairs Ltd, are still operating.

However due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Jersey Government's decision to lock down the entire island. It has been necessary to take the following measures to ensure the safety of both customer and staff alike, and to reduce the onset of the virus spreading.

The garage front gate to the yard will be closed at all times, if you have an issue or a query, it would be best that you first contact us by phone or email. If however an issue arises whilst you're driving and you are outside the garage, please again call us by phone and a member of staff will meet you on the roadside.

If a vehicle is booked in for repair, and you are in isolation, we will be able to collect the vehicle from your home address, alternatively if you wish to drop off the vehicle, you can call once you're outside the barricade on 484069 or 0779726088, and someone will meet you outside.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause in taking these measures but we do think it essential for everybody's safety.
